The classic Krabi jungle day tour: swim in the Emerald Pool, soak in the hot spring waterfalls, then climb the Tiger Cave Temple stairs in the afternoon. Hotel pickup, guide, transport and entry fees are included.

What makes this tour special?
It is a GSTC-certified version of the most popular day trip in Krabi, and it bundles the three stops most visitors want in one go. You swim the Emerald Pool in Khlong Thom, walk to the Blue Lagoon photo spot, have lunch at a local restaurant, soak in the Hot Springs Waterfall, and finish at Wat Tham Suea, the Tiger Cave Temple. Unlike the budget versions of this loop, the entry fees are already in the price, so there are no surprise charges at each gate.
What should you expect on the day?
A morning hotel pickup in an air conditioned van starts the day. The Emerald Pool comes first, and that timing matters: the water is clearest and the crowds thinnest before 11am. A short forest path leads on to the Blue Lagoon, where swimming is not allowed but the color is worth the walk. After lunch you get warm mineral water at the hot springs, natural stone tubs shaped by the stream. The last stop is the temple, where the famous staircase waits. Climbing to the summit is optional. Plenty of guests explore the cave shrines and monastery grounds at the base instead.
Who should book it?
First-time visitors who want the full Krabi jungle circuit without planning anything. It suits couples and small groups who are happy with a shared van and a set schedule. Skip it if you want the summit at sunrise or sunset. The temple stop lands in the hot late afternoon, so pace yourself on the stairs and bring a hat.
Prices and what is included
The price includes hotel pickup and drop off, a tour guide, the air conditioned vehicle, drinking water, and the entry fees for all three stops. Food and drinks beyond lunch and personal spending are yours. For reference, paying gate fees yourself on a DIY trip costs around 400 baht at the Emerald Pool, 200 at the hot springs, and 50 at the temple stairs, so fee-inclusive pricing closes much of the gap with the cheaper bundles.
Insider tips
Wear your swimsuit under your clothes; the changing rooms at the Emerald Pool get long queues. Water shoes help on the slippery pool edges. For the temple, dress with shoulders and knees covered, and keep snacks zipped away from the monkeys near the stairs. Carry small cash for coconut stalls and lockers.
When is the best time to take this tour?
November through March is the sweet spot. The Emerald Pool runs clearest in the dry months, and the temple staircase in the afternoon is far kinder when humidity drops. In the rainy season, June to October, the pool can turn cloudy after storms and the stone paths get slick, though the hot springs are arguably nicer under drizzle. Weekends and Thai public holidays bring local crowds to the pools, so book a weekday slot if your dates allow. The tour runs year round and departures rarely cancel for weather.
Pickup, group size and pace
Pickup covers Ao Nang, Klong Muang and Krabi Town hotels in an air conditioned van, typically between 8 and 9 in the morning, with the exact time confirmed on your booking. Groups fill a minivan, so expect roughly eight to twelve travelers and a fixed rhythm: about an hour at each water stop, lunch in the middle, and the temple as the closer. The guide handles all tickets at the gates, which alone saves twenty minutes of queueing on busy days. You are back at your hotel by early evening.
How it compares
The Ao Nang budget version of this loop runs the same three stops for less but leaves every entry fee out, and it is driver only, no guide. The sunrise jungle tour flips the order and puts the temple climb first in the cool of dawn for a higher price. If the climb itself is your main event, the dedicated sunset tour gives it far more time.
